At CreativeCon, 5th through 8th graders learn that the ability to think creatively and problem solve is essential for all ages and in all areas of life. Each student experiences three unique interactive sessions highlighting the ways creativity and problem solving are applied in STEM, the arts, and across all careers. Students work with community professionals who demonstrate how creative thinking is used in their vocation and lives; attendees learn that creativity is a life skill that can be practiced and strengthened.
New this year, lunch will be from 11:30–12:00. Students will attend two sessions before lunch and are invited to tour the museum in school chaperoned groups after CreativeCon.
