Minnesota Future City Competition

Future City is a project-based program where students in grades 6-8 imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future.

Schools or recognized youth organizations can form teams. Student teams are guided by a teacher and an engineer mentor.

Teams work from September to January to complete 5 projects: virtual city design, city essay, physical city model, team presentation, and project plan. You can learn more here about the competition's deliverables here.

The winner of the 2019-2020 Minnesota Regional Future City Competition is Nuova Venezia from Justice Page Middle School!
They will fly out and compete against other countries and states in the FCC finals on February 18, 2020 in Washington, DC.
