This Give to the Max Day season, your donation is more than a number. It is a chance for Twin Cities students to attend an SBC field trip and discover a new passion.
“I wish this was like 100 times a year.”
“YAC opened my eyes to all of the other possible jobs where you can use English skills!”
“I loved every session because I got to try and see new things!”
“Every session was my favorite because they all had different types of activities that were equally fun and challenging!”
Since 1999, creating a scholarship fund to help more students attend our field trips has been one of our goals at SBC.
This fall, we made it happen: SBC launched its inaugural scholarship program to help schools bring students who love to write to the 2023 Young Authors Conference (YAC). Twelve schools will each receive $500 to help subsidize their YAC student registration fees. In addition, we have received funding that will allow 15 schools to receive $500 to subsidize their registration fees to attend STEMLink.
This Give to the Max Day we need your donations to help expand our 2023-2024 scholarship fund so that we can help schools send students to all of our field trip programs, including Creativity Fesitval, CreativeCon, and STEMLink, in addition to YAC.
